Adidas or Nike?

Now theres that age old question do I get Adidas shoes or do I get Nike shoes? who's better? personally i've always gone for Nike but recently have noticed Adidas step up there game when it comes to basketball boots. I've always gone for nikes because there normally the most popular shoe and you can get them almost anywhere but recently i saw the Adidas crazy lights and realised that actually Adidas have some really good shoes.

Nike
My personal experience with Nike shoes in the last year hasn't been great. My KobeIV's looked amazing but about 4 months after i brought them when I went over on my ankle tearing 3 ligaments in my foot (Yes it hurt alot!) the shoe split in half. Then i got a custom ID Nike Sharkley boot they were great, good ankle support looked nice (well i thought so my teammates didn't take to the design) bit heavy but I got use to it. But then after 5 months the laces broke, so I just recently brought a pair of the new high top hyperfuses with the strap at the top. Really nice and light hopefully they'll stick around longer then the others, but its not just me being reckless with my shoes because i've noticed alot of my teamtes hyperdunks Nike ticks rubbing off after a couple of weeks sometimes days!

Nike is'nt all bad though even if there shoes break after 4 months. Nike has brought us Air Jordan, Kobe's and Lebron's, all great shoes from great players but I cant help but be put off when they break after 4 months.

Adidas

Adidas, Probably best known for Dwight Howard and his shoes. I really like Adidas I just think all there shoes look nice and im sure im not the only one, I have had no personal experiences with Adidas shoes but my friends tell me there reliable. First time i really took notice of Adidas is hen they brought out there Adizero D-rose shoes, they looked great and were certainly a very new different design compared to nike shoes and old Adidas shoes. Now with the new Adidas crazy lights, the lightest basketball shoes ever at 9.8 ounces. There eye catchy too the only worry being the ankle support, the fact that there so light cant help the ankle support but we'll just have to wait and see.

Adidas are a very relable brand but there not as diverse as nike. They dont have classics like Air Jordans aswell, also finding adidas shoes with good designs is hard because Adidas dont actually sell them on there website so sometimes it is hard to find a unique pair of Adidas boots. Overall though im definetly buying Adidas next time.
