In week 2 of the Pro classic in London, England former Washington university huskie Mathew Bryan-Amaning destroys a defender with a nasty dunk. Hopefully he'll bring this to the olympics if he is named in the Great Britains mens final sqaud.

Dwight Howard perform the HAKA! - Eurocamp 2012

Dwight Howard made a visit to EuroCamp 2012 in Treviso,Italy and had an encounter with the New Zealand u20 rugby squad. What did he do? well none less than the HAKA (see video below), He also took time to speak with over 50 camp participants about preparing and playing professional basketball.

Seems like Dwights keeping himself preoccupied whilst out of action with his back injury.

Its the New year!

Were finally in 2012 and there's allot to look forward t for basketball fans.

The London Olympics, barmy old England my home country hosting the Olympics in the city of the world London. My predictions are Gold medal match will be USA v Spain, silver medal match will be France v Argentina, bronze medal match will be Turkey v Lithuania. Expect France to be a nice surprise at this tournament as if healthy they could field and extremely good sqaud. Also Great Britain's squad (which i know quite a bit about being British myself) is ever improving, now I dont expect any medals from the 43rd ranked team in the world but I do believe they are massively underrated and could cause a couple of upsets. The Great British squads biggest standouts for next year are Luol Deng, Ben Gordon, Joel Freeland, Pops Mensah Bonsu  and the upcoming young guard Devon Van Oostrum and of course the captain Andrew Sullivan.

The shortened NBA season. The NBA will only have 66 games of regular season this year due to the lockout but that's not always bad news. Teams are going to be tested more than ever this year with alot of their games being back to back, this should make for some interesting matchups and upsets. Teams like the Boston Celtics who lets face it aren't in their brightest days age wise have been notcieably upset by the schedule and even players like Kevin Garnett have spoken to the media about it. But on more positive terms this season should hold alot of higlights from lob city Los Angeles and some of the promising talents like Rubio and Favors but of course from the greats such as Kobe and the Miami Heats fronrunners Wade and Lebron who are chasing revenge for last years finals.

With all this in store I cant wait to see what 2012 holds, happy new year!
